For the Kids: Support Non-Profit Sammy’s House!

Team Doucet asks you to support RECA’s fundraising event, Christmas in October, which will benefit Austin’s non-profit, Sammy’s House!

WHAT IS SAMMY’S HOUSE? “Sammy’s House is a nonprofit organization that provides services for children who are medically fragile and/or developmentally delayed in a nurturing, inclusive environment. [Their] mission and goal is to help children and families thrive by giving children the opportunities they need to reach their highest potential through therapy support, curriculum-based instruction, and child care services. The vision embodied in [their] mission is for Sammy’s House to fill the gaps in services for this vulnerable group of children so that our community can be a place where everyone has the chance to grow and learn to the best of their abilities.”  Here is a short video about Sammy’s House that explains Sammy’s House’s mission:

$40 Million St. Edward’s University Housing Project

March 1, 2016:  We are excited to announce that D&A will be civil engineer for the new $40 Million, 124-unit Student Housing Project and the $4.3 Million Operations Building at St. Edward’s University. The new student housing project will allow approximately half of the student body to live on campus, which is important to the University as it attracts more out-of-state and international students and as housing prices increase around the South Austin area where the University is located. We enjoy working with St. Edward’s and are proud to be a part of this crucial project.
